David Register |
David Register, Executive Vice President - David Register has been in the foliage industry since high school. He attended the University of Florida and majored in Agricultural Economics. After leaving school in 1985 he helped to organize and start FernTrust as an agricultural cooperative. He served as its operations manager from inception until his promotion to Executive Vice President in 2001. He is dedicated to serving our customers with his extensive agricultural experience and strong commitment to strategic marketing alliances. David lives in Seville with his wife Alison and teenage daughters Victoria and Savanna. |
Jana Register |
Jana B. Register, Director of Sales and Marketing - Jana began her career in agriculture as a high school FFA member raising leatherleaf as part of her FFA project. After graduating from the University of Florida with a MS in Agriculture, she began her teaching career at her alma mater. While there she was instrumental in securing funding for a Fern Research Facility and the Fernery Management Program at Taylor High School in Pierson. In 1996 she was hired as the Executive Director of the Florida FFA Association. Family illness brought her home to Seville and she joined the sales staff at FernTrust in 2002. She continues her role in education by serving on several agricultural advisory boards and volunteers for FFA and Pop Warner football events. Jana lives in Seville with her husband (who was her high school sweetheart) Michael and soon to be teenage son Brendan. |
Amy Register |
Amy B. Register, Chief Financial Officer - Amy graduated from the University of Florida with high honors with a BS in Accounting. She has also taken graduate level coursework at Stetson University and the University of Central Florida. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has over 12 years experience in public accounting and more than seven years experience in the private sector. Amy and her husband of 18 years, Jimmy, live in Seville where they own and manage over eighty acres of assorted foliages and are part owners in a twenty acre Leather leaf operation. Amy and Jimmy have a daughter Meghan and a son William. |
Courtney Brown |
Courtney Brown, Sales and Marketing Specialist - Courtney joined FernTrust in 2005. She is a University of Central Florida graduate with a BS degree in Marketing. She too was a FFA member at Taylor Middle-High School and brings this agricultural experience to FernTrust along with prior experience in sales and graphic design. She is proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Publisher and PhotoShop and brings a fresh creativity to the FernTrust marketing team. Courtney lives in nearby De Leon Springs with her husband Trevor and two year old son Logan. |
Bobbi Ecker |
Bobbi Ecker, AIFD, PFCI, AAF, Creative Consultant - Bobbi has been part of the FernTrust team since 2001. Her unique style and design skills are infamous in the industry. She shares her talents to create one-of-a kind product offerings to our customers. Further, her design shows featuring foliage generate excitement among retailers to enhance sales for our wholesalers. The entire staff looks forward to a visit from our “Chicago office” and the time Bobbi spends at FernTrust helping us create new items for our Fabulous Foliage lines. FernTrust is truly blessed to list Bobbi Ecker as a member of our team. |
Marcia Davis |
Marcia Davis, Sales and Marketing Specialist - Marcia joined the FernTrust team in 2007. She brings more than 17 years of experience in the floral industry including more than ten years experience at Armellini Express Lines in Pierson. Her great personality and meticulous attention to detail have enhanced our customer service in the sales office. Additionally Marcia assists in the creation of our Foliage Forum and ideas for new ColorFresh lines. Marcia volunteers at our local elementary school and is active in the PTO. She and her husband Robert live in Pierson with son Alex and daughter Katelyn. |
